long can use this

HI Group, I got this beta 2 version if vista in the mail to try out. I've been wondering how long I will be able to use it before it becomes inactive on my system and will it then uninstall itself? Appreciate any info you may have. Bob

Bob; The time bomb goes off 31 May 2007. It will not uninstall but will become unusable.

Jupiter is correct but I suspect that since you will also get RC1 when it comes out in a few months it is moot how long you can use Beta 2. You will have moved on to RC1 or abandoned Vista altogether.

June 1, 2007. However, you will long have moved on to RC1 or abandoned Vista before then so it is not really a concern.

June 1st as Colin said...to check the date (for RC1 etc if you install it) click 'start' type in winver and press enter. The time bomb date will be on the window that pops up.
